ComfortDelGro taxis to impose 30—cent PER RIDE surcharge from July 17

DAMN TAXI'S. they are already charging 35% during peak hrs and the ERP charges and the peak hour charges and cbd charges. moreover, they paid only S$1.19 for the damn diesil !!!
They can simply save money by saving fuel. BY SWITCHING OFF ENGINES WHEN THEY ARE PARKING AT VOID DECK. FOR RESTING OR PEEING . WADEVER.
They are the one who pollute the air and burning off fuel. which i don't think we, PASSENGERS should be paying their "EXTRA" charges.
imagine.. on the usual "off-peak" timing, we paid (let's say) S$10.00. During "PEAK HOUR" we'll be paying....
S$10
+ CBD area charge S$3
+ ERP charge S$2
+ Peak time 35% S$3.50
= Horrible S$ 18.50 which is more than 80% compared to usual off-peak.
(but the same S$10 does not equals to same distance; due to jams and some circumstances)
tts not all .. on top of these charges. from 17th july onwards.. you people have to pay that extra big big SGD $0.30 !!!!!!!!
With such money.. might as well buy car !!
